An Atlanta transplant, by way of Albuquerque, New Mexico - Jonea is the middle of 3 daughters.

Jonea believes in failing forward - embracing a growth mindset that encourages experimentation, reflection, and accountability when things don't go exactly as planned.

Jonea is a people focused consultant with experience in change management, corporate communications, organizational change, qualitative research methods, and employee engagement strategies.

She has worked with a number of organizations ranging in size from startups to global enterprises and across industries including insurance, resources, manufacturing, software, law, consumer packaged goods, e-commerce and more.

Jonea has worked as consultant at Accenture, Paradigm Strategy Inc, and most recently, co:collective.

Jonea holds a master's degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Maryland. She attended Boston University’s Questrom School of Business as a Posse Scholar for her undergraduate studies. At Boston University, she was heavily involved in extracurriculars that fostered her desire to create genuine relationships with those around her including the Admissions Student Diversity Board, serving as a resident assistant and president of Umoja, Boston University's Black Student Union. In 2017, Umoja received an Excellence in Student Activity award for Cultural Group of the year.

Jonea was the 2017 recipient of Boston University’s Leila Saad Award and a member of the Scarlet Key Honor Society.

A big fan of the Real Housewives of Atlanta and Potomac, and a lover of Mexican food - Jonea takes pride in caring for her Shih Tzu, Oreo, entertaining with family and friends, completing DIY projects and traveling.
